MICHELA GESSANI born in Italy, in 1992. She studied Architecture at University of Ferrara, where she graduated with a master thesis about the management of tourism in the Cinque Terre National Park (Italy). During her studies she deepened her knowledge in social architecture, autoconstruction, participative projects and development architecture participating to several workshops.
After her graduation, she decided to continue studying International Cooperation for a year to improve her skills and her cultural baggage with the aim to work in the cooperation’s field. She is interested in the themes of vernacular architecture and sustainable tourism, see as elements essential for a sustainable future, both physical and relational. Out from architecture, she always volunteered during her life, both in local and in international associations. She loves reading, photographing and travelling. The experience with C-re-a.i.d. is the first where she can put her interests and knowledge together and share them with the others: she hopes both to learn and give a lot during her stay in Tanzania.
